Thank you to all athletes, parents and volunteers who attended our Kingston Locksmiths Handicap and Presentation Day on 22 March.

Congratulations to Oscar Morgan who was victorious in our handicap run.

We also held some hotly contested parent races!!

Congratulations to all athletes who participated this season, making friends, encouraging others, and always trying your best. Farewell U15's!

Another big congratulations to end of season award recipients, with each age group having an outstanding athlete and encouragement award. We would also like to acknowledge the following:

Award of Attitude and Commitment. This award recognises two athletes who have consistently demonstrated an attitude that embodies the Little Athletics values of commitment, sportsmanship, respect, self-improvement, determination and enthusiasm. Congratulations Hamish Cooper and Anja Koch.

Snug Memorial Award. This award recognises an athlete who has consistently demonstrated an attitude that embodies the Little Athletics values of playing by the rules, persistence under adversity, being a good sport, and participation regardless of ability. Congratulations Sophia Carr.

Committee Recognition Award. This is awarded to the individual or family that the Committee feels has shown commitment to Little Athletics and includes willingness to help at sites and activities above and beyond those normally expected. Congratulations Fiona Dow.

Real Learning Leadership Award. Congratulations to U14 Athlete Isabella Blaschke.

Continuous Participation (6+ years): Congratulations Blake Pickett, Emily Hardie, Emily Hughes, Jacob Wass and Luke Gomer.

U13 Sportsmanship Award State Runner Up: Congratulations Lachlan Tempany.

Life Membership. Although officially awarded to Laurence Paine last year, officially presented to him this year was his well deserved Life Membership.

A big thank you to Little Island Waffle Co for their delicious waffles and to the barbecue and canteen staff for looking after us.

Finally, a big thank you to the Committee for their hard work and dedication not only on presentation day, but at all meets, behind the scenes and after hours put in year round.
