Congratulations to KLAC athlete Breeze, who at our very first meet of the season broke the Under 15 Girls Triple Jump record! 🏆
The previous record had stood since 2016 – that’s 10 years!
Breeze smashed the record with an incredible jump of 10.58m! 🎉

A few reminders for our returning or registered athletes…
👉 Welcome Kit collection & uniform sales are happening tomorrow, Wednesday 7 October, from 4pm–7pm at the clubrooms.
👕 Uniform reminder: All registered athletes MUST wear the correct Kingborough Centre uniform when competing:
✅ KLAC Competition top
✅ Name bib & age patch
✅ Plain black shorts (shorts must be above the knee)
❌ Other colours, including navy/blue, are not permitted
All returning athletes must be registered before competing at their first meet. If you’re planning on joining us for our first meet, make sure your athlete is registered BEFORE Saturday.

✨ The countdown continues with just 5 DAYS TO GO!
To help get ready for the season ahead, Coach Andrew is offering a special training session for our U11 age group, to help navigate the new events for this age group.
🗓 Thursday 8 Oct
📍Gormley Park, Kingston
⏰ 4:30-6pm
Training for all age groups will commence on Thursday 15 Oct.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
✅ Training is for registered athletes and will be held at Gormley Park
✅ A parent/guardian must be present at all times whilst their child is at training ✅ Parents or guardians are expected to assist with training
✅ Training notices, including cancellation notices, will be announced on Facebook

Uniform is not required to be worn but centre tops with name tags worn is helpful to the coach. Athletes need to bring a hat, jacket and drink bottle.

If you are attending our Come & Try Day this Saturday, here's some important information:
✅ U6-U15 athletes start at 8:30am
✅ Tiny Tots (athletes born 2022 & 2023) start at 10am
✅ Upon arrival, sign-in your trialing athletes in the clubrooms
✅ After signing in, please gather in our outdoor seating area, where our friendly volunteers will explain how the morning works

If you are unable to attend our Come & Try Day this Saturday, you are welcome to come along and have a trial at any of our meets throughout the season.
