Thank you to all athletes, parents and volunteers who attended our Kingston Locksmiths Handicap and Presentation Day on 14 March.
Congratulations to U13 athlete Liam Lucas who was victorious in our handicap run.
We also held some hotly contested parent races!!
Congratulations to all athletes who participated this season, making friends, encouraging others, and always trying your best. Farewell U15's!
Another big congratulations to end of season award recipients, with each age group having an outstanding athlete and encouragement award. We would also like to acknowledge the following:
Award of Attitude and Commitment.
This award recognises two athletes who have consistently demonstrated an attitude that embodies the Little Athletics values of commitment, sportsmanship, respect, self-improvement, determination and enthusiasm. Congratulations to Grace Hennessy and Parker Mansfield.
Snug Memorial Award.
This award recognises an athlete who has consistently demonstrated an attitude that embodies the Little Athletics values of playing by the rules, persistence under adversity, being a good sport, and participation regardless of ability. Congratulations Clara Morgan.
Committee Recognition Award.
This is awarded to the individual or family that the Committee feels has shown commitment to Little Athletics and includes willingness to help at sites and activities above and beyond those normally expected. Congratulations Sally Arnold.
The Long-Term Outstanding Service Award.
This trophy is awarded for service over and above the normal family commitment to Centre activities. Congratulations Adrian Blaschke.
Real Learning Leadership Award.
Congratulations to U15 Athlete Sophie Haremza.
Continuous Participation: Congratulations Oscar Nichols-Howe, Sofia Palermo and Bella Blaschke.
U13 Sportsmanship Award nominees: Liam Lucas and Nina Vivers.
Thank you to all the parents and volunteers who have helped throughout the season, meets wouldn’t happen without the consistent help we have.
Thank you to the Committee for their hard work and dedication not only on presentation day, but at all meets, behind the scenes and after hours put in year round.
Finally, our AGM will be held at 7:00pm on Wednesday 22 April 2026. All members of the KLAC community are encouraged to attend. This is an opportune occasion to give feedback and discuss the future of KLAC. There are committee positions vacant, and as the saying goes, many hands make light work. Consider joining for the 2026/2027 season.
