Centre Championships – Day 3
Our final day of championships, this Saturday!
⭐️ WALKS ⭐️
We ask all athletes participating in the walks to please be at the clubrooms for registration at 8:15am for a prompt 8:30am start.
And finally, a few reminders:
🟢 Centre uniform (KLAC competition top and plain black shorts above the knee), must be worn with LATas issued name bib and Coles age patch attached correctly. Previous season bibs/awards must be removed.
🟢 Athletes must have participated in an event once to be eligible to compete.
🟢 Coaching is NOT permitted.
🟢 Only Officials are permitted at track and field sites. If you are not required to assist at sites, you must remain in the grandstand/spectators area.
🔵Heats and finals will be held for 200m event. Timed finals will be undertaken for the Race Walks & Hurdles events.
🔵 For track events, an athlete is allowed two breaks. If a third break occurs, the athlete will be disqualified.
Our Tiny Tots program will run as normal at 10am.
Please remember hats, plenty of water and sunscreen 🌞
If a Championship meet is cancelled due to poor weather, the meet will be held the following Sunday (weather permitting).
