KLAC Combined Event – what a day ☀️
Congratulations to all athletes who gave it their absolute best!
On what was a hot and humid day, let's give a big thank you to the tireless Committee for their hard work in set up and running the meet, to the volunteers on the start and finish lines, those in the canteen and on the barbecue, with special mention to Casey for the extra icy pole runs!
Thank you also to the age group coordinators and volunteers for running the events at championship level.
Lastly, thank you to Flowline Photography for capturing the majority of the photos below. 📸
Any KLAC athlete absent from presentations on Saturday can collect their medal and/or ribbon from the clubrooms.

The RSM Tasmania State Combined Event Championships is just days away!

🔵 A reminder that all volunteers (including field crews), must show their WWVP Card before helping at site, please remember to bring your card with you.
🔵 All athletes must wear their centre or club uniform, this includes the McDonald’s Name Bib and Coles Age Patch. If you need a replacement, please contact your centre.
🔵 A reminder that athletes must participate in all 5 or 7 events to be eligible for a final placing.

Unfortunately it is too wet and dangerous to hold the combined events for the U/13-15 and the high jump coach and compete. We will try and reschedule the U13-15 combined events for Wednesdays twilight meet.TODAY:

Still waiting on the rescheduled date for the C&C Throws. 🙂 But thanks. This decision makes sense.
Congratulations are in order. Reports from NZ are that KLAC athletes Isabella and Maddox are doing us proud!! Isabella has had a podium finish, placing 3rd in the high jump!!! She also placed 11th in long jump. Maddox placed 5th in the shot put. Fantastic effort by both athletes!

CALENDAR UPDATE!
Please see below updated calendar for the remainder of the season. All dates remain the same except for the LATas State Individual Championships, which will now be held a week later on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 March 2025 in Launceston.
